Handmade End-Grain Cutting Board

This large and beautiful 1 5/8” thick end grain cutting board was handmade in California with Cherry and Sapele hardwoods.

This board has been treated with high quality food-grade mineral oil and sealed with a mixture of mineral oil and organic, triple filtered beeswax. To ensure the life of this heirloom quality board, simply wipe clean with mild soap, water, and a damp cloth and re-apply mineral oil when the board becomes dry or lighter in color (or every 6 months).

To extend the life of you board, never submerge in water. Despite being treated and sealed, end-grain boards can absorb water, potentially creating stress that can crack your board. Do not place hot pans directly on the board and do not wash in the dishwasher.Wood products continue to live, breath, expand and contract as your environment changes.

To make your cutting board feel like new again, rub the entire board with food-grade mineral oil. Wipe off the excess oil with a dry cloth or paper towel. It is recommended to re-seal the board every 6-12 months with a mixture of beeswax and mineral oil to ensure your board maintains it’s beauty for years to come.
