Matt Muirhead

Based in Sacramento, CA, Matt has been an avid photographer since falling in love with the camera on a field trip to Angel Island in the second grade. He specializes in landscape, astrophotography, action sport, journalistic portraits and events.

He has been published in numerous magazines and periodicals as well as shown his work in galleries throughout Northern California, including an extended exhibit in Lassen National Park.

He has a passion for exploration and outdoor pursuits which take him on road trips throughout the United States and Canada. He is a supporter of the US National Park Service and public lands. He enjoys camping and hiking which lead him to some of the most beautiful places in the country.
